Program Aide – St. Croix Center
Early Childhood Programs
Full-Time Position with generous benefits
Pay Range -$16.20 - $18.63 per hour
This is a 6 hour a day, 30 hour a week, academic year, benefits eligible position located at our St. Croix Early Care and Education Center on the WCCC campus.
We are seeking a flexible, creative, and patient Ed Tech III to work with children in our preschool program! This position will work in collaboration with the classroom teachers and provide classroom support to children of all abilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing instruction or program modifications to children identified with developmental disabilities under the direction of a teacher
- Supervising small groups of students in a center-based program.
- Conducting one-on-one or small groups with indirect professional supervision
- Introducing new learning, pre-planned in collaboration with a Special Education Teacher and/or Disability Services Manager.
Qualifications:
- A current Ed Tech III certification and a criminal history check are required
- Obtain and maintain authorization as an Educational Technician with the Maine Department of Education
- Successful background, criminal records, fingerprinting and reference check
