Qualifications: Demonstrated English reading, writing and math skills. Has ability to complete required training in the use of equipment below. No custodial experience required.
Job Goal: To help create and maintain a safe, attractive comfortable, clean and efficient place for students, employees and the public. Working Conditions: Required to work with students, fellow employees and the public, handle constant change, and must be able to handle repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders. Required to work on slippery surfaces indoors and out, work alone, work days and nights; be exposed to cleaning solutions, floor finishing products, bacteria, molds and insects.
Essential Functions: Be able to shovel snow, climb ladders, work at heights up to 15 feet off the ground, work on uneven surfaces, work more than 8 hours, to react to change productively, and to handle other tasks as assigned. Must be able to perform visual inspection to assess job(s) to be done and evaluate work quality.
