Lewiston Childcare Center is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team. Located in a spacious and sunlit facility in Lewiston, Maine, our center offers a unique blend of ample space and cozy, home-like atmosphere, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they deserve. We provide a structured routine with clear expectations and a daily schedule with caring staff and administrators.
Position Details:
- Role: Early Childhood Teacher
- Location: Lewiston, Maine
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week); Part-time positions are also available.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and guided activities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and parents to support each child's individual needs and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a passion for working with young children and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience working in a childcare or preschool setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
