Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide virtual speech-language evaluations, therapy, consultation, and collaboration for students in Maine schools using a secure teletherapy platform. This position offers flexible scheduling, administrative support, and the opportunity to become part of a supportive, therapist-led team. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide engaging, evidence-based teletherapy services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and school teams
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings as needed
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, ethical standards, and district requirements

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in pediatric and/or school-based practice
• Comfortable using teletherapy technology and virtual service platforms
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school teams
