Job Title:  Special Education Teacher, K-2

Description:  The position is responsible for the delivery of academic and functional programming for a K-2 special education program that specializes in meeting the social and emotional regulation needs of students. Effective communication skills are required to supervise education technicians, integrate related service providers, coordinate with general education staff, and work with families.

Qualifications:  State of Maine Department of Certification as Teacher of Exceptional Students K-8 (282), experience with ELA, math and positive behavioral regulation strategies preferred.
