Speech-Language Pathologist - Assistant (SLPA) (Part-Time or Full-Time)

RSU 20 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our school district’s dynamic team. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in a variety of school settings and will collaborate closely with the speech-language pathologist, classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other service providers. The SLPA will have support and oversight from our district speech-language pathologist. Varied caseload in the elementary, middle and high school settings, located on one campus in beautiful coastal Searsport, Maine.
Qualifications:
Licensed or eligible for Maine SLPA licensure.
Strong knowledge of various communication disorders and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
RSU 20 is located in Waldo County and includes the towns of Searsport and Stockton Springs.
