CASE MANAGER – IEP TEAM COORDINATOR

to assist the Special Education IEP Coordinator with area high school student special education cases and overseeing case management services for students and families.

A Maine 282 certificate is preferred but not required.

Flexible full-time or part-time schedule available.

• Strong communication skills, relationship building and ability to coordinate with special education team.
• Ability to communicate with parents and guardians in special education process, including the process for referrals, evaluations, annual IEP meetings/plans and re-evaluations required.
• Ensure that the team is adequately prepared for evaluation and assessment activities.
• Assisting in oversight of special education services of Maine Indian Education students identified with disabilities in the State of Maine.
• Ensure compliance with Maine and Federal special education regulations, facilitation of IEP meetings.
