Position Title: Teacher of Mathematics 

Location: Traip Academy
Reports To: Jane Durgin, Principal

Position Start Date: August 28, 2024

Required Certification: Maine Dept. of Education 300S Mathematics

Application Deadline: May 31, 2024


The Kittery School District is currently seeking a full-time teacher of Mathematics at Robert W. Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine.

The ideal candidate for this position will have an extensive knowledge of math, gained from a rigorous college math program.  They will have experience in teaching High School Mathematics. Courses taught may include Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Precalculus.  Experience with Proficiency-based Learning will be an asset.

 You must be able to pass a background check through the State of Maine Education Department.
