M.S.A.D #49 is accepting applications for: full time licensed speech and language pathologist (SLP) to join our special education team of  providers.

The  SLP is responsible for evaluating students to assist the IEP Team in determining whether a student should be identified for special education services. The SLP is also responsible for providing direct services to students, consultation to IEP Team members, developing IEP goals, monitoring and reporting progress on IEP goals, and meeting all special education requirements within prescribed timelines. This is a district wide position with a very reasonable service and caseload. In addition, the ideal candidate will be someone that loves working with our amazing students and community of educators and parents. 

 Responsibilities include supporting the Team in the identification of students and the development and implementation of IEPs. 

Applicants must hold Certification and current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education
