Qualifications:

• Degree in counseling or similar field.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Maine certificate in counseling.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, parents, community, and school personnel.

St. Thomas School in Sanford, Maine is seeking a school counselor with a faithful approach to supporting students’ emotional and social needs. The successful candidate will design and implement an exceptional school counseling program that aligns with ASCA National Standards and includes a balance of direct instruction, individual and group sessions, and crisis response as needed.
