Here at Good Will-Hinckley, we are growing and moving in a new direction clinically and programmatically and will be searching for the right clinician to join our team!

The right clinician will have experience and interest in the following areas:

  • Trauma
  • Relational neurobiology
  • Family Therapy
  • Multi-family Groups
  • Group work with children and adolescents
  • Structural Dissociation and parts work
  • Somatic therapy
  • Mindfulness
  • Bringing the outdoors into the therapeutic environment

Internal supervision and training will be ongoing and provided by a seasoned clinician as well as adjunctive training, provided as part of professional development.  Professional development in areas of future interest that also relate to the field of trauma, relational neurobiology, and family will be encouraged and supported.

The clinician will have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Licensed LCPC, LCPCcc, LCSW, LCSWcc in the State of Maine.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in working with youth and families.
  • Proven treatment planning experience in MaineCare Sections 97 and 65 preferred.
  • Satisfactory reference and background checks.
  • Must have a valid Maine driver’s license. 

Benefits of the Job:

  • Annual salary in the range of $58,000 to $65,000

Responsibilities of the Residential Clinician:

  • Provides Psychosocial assessment, crisis, and treatment planning for youth accepted to Roundel Residential.
  • Provides individual, group, and family counseling and collaborates with outside family service providers as stated in Section 97 regulations.
  • Participates in educational and clinical team meetings providing input regarding assessment, service planning, and behavioral interventions.
  • Document daily clinical work in electronic health record (AWARDS) as set forth by organizational policies and procedures and state regulatory agencies.
