Falmouth Public Schools is looking for a full time Educational Technician III for the 2020-2021 school year, to provide content support for our English Language Learners, and potentially other learners, in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate is culturally sensitive and eager to learn about other countries and cultures, has enthusiasm for (and experience working with) adolescents, and has strong collaboration and communication skills. Comfort with technology is a must. Experience teaching English Language Learners and/or possession of/eligibility for a certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language (ex: TEFL, TESOL) is preferred.
Candidates must be have or be eligible for the Maine Educational Technician Level III authorization (90 College Credits of approved study, fingerprinting) through the Maine Department of Education, as well as a district run background check. Experience preferred.
The hourly rate for this position is $18.75 to start, and a generous benefits package is included (100% health/dental - single coverage).
