Join the Westbrook School Department as a Substitute Teacher!  

We are in need of qualified substitute teachers at all levels, K-12, and in all subject areas.  We are hiring Dedicated Building Substitutes who will commit to working at one school consistently throughout the school year as well as day-to-day substitutes who will choose to fill positions through the district. Long-term substitutes are often hired fro within the substitute pool. Training and orientation will be provided. Daily rate of pay is dependent upon education, certification, experience, and length of time in an assignment. A minimum of 60 college credits preferable for all classroom substitute teachers. Maine Department of Education fingerprinting (CHRC) and a background check is required.
