Automotive Instructor - United Technologies Center

Are you a seasoned automotive professional looking to share your expertise with the next generation of technicians? Join us at United Technologies Center as an Automotive Instructor and help shape the future of the automotive industry.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Instructing students in the fundamentals of automotive technology, including engine repair, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
  • Developing and delivering hands-on, project-based lessons to enhance students' technical skills.
  • Collaborating with administration, staff, and industry professionals to continuously improve the automotive technology curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • ASE certifications are preferred for program accreditation purposes.
  • Certification in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and guiding students toward successful careers in the automotive industry.
  • Certified Maine CTE Instructor with the Department of Education
