Job Title: Early Childhood Program Aide

Location: Calais PK Head Start

Pay Range: $16.20 – $18.63

$250 Sign-on bonus

Join our team as an Early Childhood Program Aide, supporting teaching staff in creating a nurturing environment for young children. Under the guidance of the Center Coordinator, contribute to the success of our early childhood development program.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and cater to the unique characteristics of individual children.
• Guide children through daily routines, fostering a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and engage parents in the program.
• Handle special care concerns and participate in nutrition and sanitation activities.
• Support center staff in all activities and share janitorial duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience working with young children required.
• Program Aide II requires DOE Ed. Tech III certification.
• Must pass background checks.
