Early Childhood e-Helper and Referral Coordinator
Overview
The Calais School Department is seeking a motivated Early Childhood e-Helper and Referral Coordinator interested in growing professionally in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships with young children and educators, maintains strict confidentiality, meets timelines with accuracy, and communicates effectively. Responsibilities include coordinating and assisting with the delivery of telehealth services, managing confidential documentation, and assisting with Child Find and special education referral processes.
This position requires travel to early childhood centers in the Calais area; reliable transportation is essential.
Qualifications
Experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings
Training or certification in early childhood education preferred
Preferred: Associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders
Current CHRC and fingerprinting are required
