Job Posting- 4th- Grade Teacher- Readfield Elementary School
RSU #38 is looking for a 4th grade teacher to join a team of patient, creative and passionate educators. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for teaching and working collaboratively with other professionals. Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Core Knowledge Language Arts, Bridges and Positive Behavior Intervention of Supports is a plus. Willing to train the right candidate on all district programs.
Job Goal:
To implement a high quality, well-rounded comprehensive instructional program that engages and accommodates all students' academic, social emotional needs, and learning styles.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of 4th grade curriculum.
- Ability to develop trusting, productive relationships.
- Engaging classroom presence.
- Knowledge of best practices and a lifelong love of learning.
The successful candidate will join the strong teaching staff that focuses on continuous improvement, teamwork, and data analysis. All professional staff participate in ongoing professional development related to district curriculum.
Certifications: Elementary K-6 endorsement by the Maine Department of Education (or be able to obtain).
