Camden Rockport Elementary School, nestled in a spacious setting with woods and fields adjacent to the high school, serves approximately 360 students in grades PreK-4 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRES uses a responsive classroom structure, has a robust system of support for students, and hosts a popular nature-based pre-K program.
We have an opening for an Ed Tech III working on a Special Educational Team with students (Grade K-4) identified with social/emotional and/or behavioral needs in our K-4 day treatment program. A successful candidate will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students’ programs, demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students’ challenging behaviors, support students in the regular and special education settings in small groups or 1:1, implement students’ IEPs and behavior plans, design and implement instruction, and support students’ unique needs as appropriate. Pay starts at $23.28 per hour for this position and increases based on experience.
Maine Department of Education Educational Technician III authorization required. Preference will be given to those with Special Education Experience.
