RSU 64 is seeking qualified applicants for a .5FTE Science teacher for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Central High School serves approximately 310 students from five towns in rural Maine.

Located in Corinth, Maine, RSU 64 serves the students of Bradford, Corinth, Hudson, Kenduskeag, and Stetson in the beautiful Southern Penobscot region. Embedded in quiet rural neighborhoods with access to year round outdoor recreation, our communities provide a small-town feel and are located only 20 minutes north of Bangor, Maine.

Creativity and innovation, as well as a commitment to student-centered instruction are highly valued.

The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated prior successful experience as a science teacher preferred;

Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices;

Current Maine teacher certification;

Current Maine CHRC; and

Evidence of using technology in practice.
