Day Treatment Teacher

Qualifications:

282 certification - required
Previous experience programming and planning for academic, social/emotional, and mental health needs of high school students with disabilities - preferred
Previous experience working with students with academic and behavioral needs - required
Ability to write quality IEPs in a timely manner - required
Ability to co-write and follow behavioral plans - preferred
Is highly flexible
Ability to lead a day treatment team of educational technicians and service providers to ensure the IEP is followed appropriately
Demonstrated ability as a clear and effective communicator with students, staff, and parents
Highly organized
