Our Children’s Services Department is hiring a Site Manager located at our Farmington Early Learning Center. The Site Manager oversees daily center operations, ensures holistic services to children and families and provides direct supervision, coaching and mentoring to classroom staff. This position leads multiple teaching teams that plans and implements experiences to meet children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, and engages with families in meeting both their children’s and family’s needs. Additional Site Manager duties include facilitating meetings, overseeing the proper care, cleanliness and maintenance of the center, and monitoring children’s progress through written observations, assessments and ongoing supervision. Travel within the service area is required. This position is 40 hours a week, 50 weeks per year. Qualifications: A minimum of an AA in Early Childhood Education or closely related field is required; B.A in Early Childhood Education or closely related field preferred. Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience and five years’ experience in early childcare and education is preferred.
Other Requirements: Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others; considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry and perform other high-energy activities; a valid driver’s license; telephone; computer/word-processing skills, preferably Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team. Pre-employment SBI, DMV, DHHS, sex offender registry, fingerprinting and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment.
