Adult Education Academic Coordinator/Instructor
Full-Time School Year Position plus part-time summer

Five Town CSD is seeking a dynamic individual (or individuals) to oversee its Learning Lab. The Coordinator will work directly with the Adult Education Director in planning, coordinating and assisting in all activities related to the adult education program. The Instructor will assist students in meeting their learning goals to improve basic skills through individual and small group instruction.
Qualified candidates should have at minimum a bachelor’s degree, plus have or be eligible for Certification. Experience providing academic advising to adult learners who are completing high school or preparing for post-secondary training and/or the workforce and working with low income, at risk individuals preferred. Candidate(s) should have familiarity with career interests and learning styles inventories, knowledge of regional post-secondary institutions and their programs. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Docs for both PC and Apple OS and the ability to learn other software quickly is a plus. A current and valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) is required. Occasional evening hours required.
This position may be shared. Eligible for benefits if not a shared position.
