Job Title: Youth Program Outreach Coordinator
Location: Nationwide, multiple office locations available throughout the country. Position can be remote for the right candidate.
About Us: Alliance Highway Safety is dedicated to fostering safer driving habits through impactful community education. Our flagship program, Choices Matter, empowers high school students with life-changing insights and interactive experiences to make informed decisions both on the road and in their lives. We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven individual to join our team as a Youth Program Outreach Coordinator. The program is free for schools, Choices Matter will never ask schools for anything more than their time and students to attend.
Position Overview: As the Youth Program Outreach Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in extending the reach of our Choices Matter program. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and coordinate engagements with high schools to book assemblies and other educational events. This role involves some travel, direct interaction with school officials, and occasional hands-on event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach and Booking: Proactively contact high schools nationwide (select states) to schedule Choices Matter assemblies and other youth-focused events. Outreach via phone is a very important part of the job, applicants should be comfortable making connections over the phone.
- Event Coordination: Manage logistics for program events, including setup, execution, and teardown. Ensure that all event requirements and contract specifications are met.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with school administrators, student leaders, and local law enforcement to coordinate program details.
- Relationship Building: Develop and sustain positive relationships with school contacts and other key partners to foster ongoing collaboration.
- Program Management: Support the execution of Choices Matter and related programs, including organizing materials and assisting with program delivery.
- Reporting and Documentation: Provide timely updates and reports to the Nashville headquarters, including event recaps and feedback.
- Marketing and Outreach: Contribute to the creation and implementation of public relations campaigns. Utilize social media, press releases, newsletters, and other channels to enhance program visibility.
- Travel Planning: Arrange and manage travel logistics for nationwide outreach efforts.
- Support and Flexibility: Assist with other Alliance events and tasks as needed, adapting to evolving needs and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Cold-Calling experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Teams Application is a plus.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and video editing (Premiere Pro).
- Preferred knowledge of CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
