We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our multi-disciplinary teams as a Special Education Teacher in Wells. This position would support our programs with students Pre-K through 12. The Special Education Teacher oversees the primary and secondary school program serving students with significant needs including medical, behavioral and intellectual disabilities; collaborates with parents, Therapists, Ed Techs, and BCBAs in meeting goals for students within a functional life skills classroom setting.

Teaching Certification in the State of Maine
282 or 286 Special Education Certification

Prior experience working with students with significant disabilities


Bachelors Degree in related field

Salary starting at $42,000/year and commensurate with experience. 

Year-round schedule with 22 vacation days, 9 holidays and 8 earned-time days accruing each year.
