Chebeague Island School is a community-centered PreK-5 public school located on an island Casco Bay. Access to the island is a 15 minute ferry ride from Cousins Island in Yarmouth. We are committed to academic excellence, community engagement, Expeditionary Learning, and teachers working in teams to innovate, educate, and develop as professionals.
We are looking for an educator to support our RTI and special education programs. This person will assist teachers in developing Tier 1 interventions, deliver Tier 2 interventions, and provide special education services for elementary students.
We need an innovative educator who can collaborate closely with classroom teachers, understands how to use data to inform instruction, can deliver individualized instruction to students, and excels at communicating with students, families, and staff.
This is a full time position and requires a K-8 Teacher of Students with Disabilities (282E) and Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check certifications.
