George Stevens Academy (GSA), an independent town academy serving the Blue Hill Peninsula, is seeking a collaborative, organized, and solutions-oriented professional to serve as our Director of Operations.
The Director of Operations will be a key member of the school’s leadership team and oversees the day-to-day operational functions of the school, including facilities and grounds, custodial and maintenance operations, vendor and contract management, food service oversight, campus logistics, and operational planning. The position works closely with the Head of School, Facilities Committee and administrative team to help ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

- A strong communicator and team leader
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
- Practical, flexible, and willing to take a hands-on approach when needed
- Experienced in operations, facilities management, or organizational leadership
