ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL

EAST BELFAST AND KERMIT NICKERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

RSU #71 seeks a collaborative, innovative, energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced instructional leader for two (2) elementary schools. The schools are located in Mid-Coast Maine, in the communities of East Belfast and Swanville.

We seek an experienced administrator with:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to foster caring, trusting relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members.
• A capacity to inspire and guide teachers and support staff in research-based best practices.
• A strong track record in the supervision and evaluation of personnel.
• Familiarity with using data to inform instruction and with effective use of instructed technology.
• Maine Department of Education Building Administrator Certification and a Criminal History Records Check.

RSU#71 offers a competitive salary and benefit package. The successful candidate will begin employment July 1, 2024. The position is open until a suitable candidate is found.
