Dr. Levesque Elementary School is seeking a dynamic Kindergarten teacher for the 2024-25 school year and beyond! The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching all kindergarten content areas.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with state standards and engage students in learning.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work to help them improve their skills.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to connect with a variety of learners.
- Implement established learning standards
- Use data to inform instruction and intervention
- Possess good communication skills
- Use technology effectively for a variety of purposes
The ideal candidate will have working knowlege of the Late Elementary Standards in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies among others, and how they align to the Valley Unified Performance Indicators.
Certification requirements: Maine 020 General Elementary or Maine 029 Early Elementary Certification and a CHRC are required.
Additional Certifications preferred.
Start Date: 2024-25 School year
