North Yarmouth Academy seeks an enthusiastic early childhood educator for a part-time position assisting in a nurturing Montessori classroom and taking a lead role in our After Care program for children ages 2 to 10. We are looking for a person who is passionate about working with children and is eager to be part of a vibrant PreK-PG school community. The ideal candidate will have warmth and generosity of spirit, the ability to work collaboratively with supportive colleagues, a responsible and trustworthy nature, and demonstrated experience working with children. Prior experience with Montessori and/or a degree in early childhood education or related field are preferred, but not required.
This is a part-time school-year position with competitive salary and paid school vacations. The hours for this position are 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Summer positions are available for additional compensation.
