Part-Time Math Teacher – The New School, Kennebunk, ME
The New School in Kennebunk, Maine, is seeking a part-time Math Teacher (8-10 hours a week) for the 2025–2026 school year to teach one section of Personal Finance.

Ideal Candidates Will:
- Have experience teaching high school-level math, especially geometry and practical, real-world applications like personal finance.
- Be enthusiastic about project-based learning and alternative assessments.
- Be able to make math engaging, hands-on, and relevant, especially for students who may not thrive in traditional math classrooms.
- Have experience or interest in working with neurodivergent learners and small, mixed-age classes.
- Embrace student voice and choice, adapting curriculum to individual needs and interests using differentiated instruction.
- Collaborate well with a small faculty team in a progressive, mission-driven learning environment.
- Maine Teaching Certificate in Math preferred.
