Center Based Clinician

Watch Me Shine is seeking a Center Based Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) to work with children and their families.

The clinician will be working with children and their families to provide strategic therapeutic interventions and support within an early intervention childcare setting.

Essential Functions of the Clinical Department Include the following:

• Assess the needs of each child and family seeking/receiving 65 services.
• Develop and write treatment plans and ensure appropriate behavior plans are implemented as needed for each child/family based on clinical assessment and principles.
• Provide psycho-therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain frequent check-ins with parents and providers to gain understanding of progress.
• Provide direction in a supervisory role to BHP and provide ongoing clinical supervision.
• Maintain clinical records according to Watch Me Shine policies and State of Maine licensing regulations.
• Maintain ethical standards of practice set forth by licensing and professional standards of clinical practice.
• Communicate the needs and requests of clients to providers and others involved in care.
• Act as family liaison to current and inquiring families, providing information about the Watch Me Shine HCT program, providing general support, and connecting them with staff specializing in their concerns as needed. Face-to-face meetings are preferred as schedules permit.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the Watch Me Shine, Inc. program
• Participate in all mandatory trainings, meetings including team meetings, and community meetings.
• Coordinate and facilitate team meetings for each HCT client as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree with full clinical certification is required.
• Experience with family therapy and trauma informed practice is preferred.
