Help Build the Future of Our Island
We are launching a five-year, fully funded initiative to create a carpentry career pathway, from K-10 exploration to high school pre-apprenticeship, adult training, and Maine Registered Apprenticeship. We’re seeking a Program Coordinator/Integrator to lead and connect this work.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate a K-adult carpentry workforce model
Build partnerships with schools, adult education, and employers
Manage employer placements
Support training and industry certifications (OSHA-10, HBI PACT)
Track outcomes and ensure long-term sustainability
We’re Looking For:
Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
Experience in program coordination, education, or workforce development
A systems thinker who values skilled trades and community resilience
