                                                                                   Social Studies/Writing Teacher, Grades 6-8                                                                                                     

RSU 1 is seeking a Grade 6-8 Social Studies/Writing Teacher at Woolwich Central School beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.  WCS is a Pre-K-8 school focused on building strong relationships and fostering the development of a growth mindset within our students.

Qualifications:

• Understand the unique developmental needs of middle school students
• Demonstrate exceptional classroom management skills
• Work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate strong differentiation skills
• Creatively integrate technology into the classroom

Certification:

• General Elementary Teaching Certificate, K-8 (020) or equivalent
• Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
