The Office of Experiential and Global Education at The University of Maine Farmington (UMF) is seeking applicants for Research Learning Experiences Project Coordinator. The coordination of the Research Learning Experiences (RLE) program funded under the UMS Transforms grant received from the Alfond Foundation. The primary role of the Research Learning Experience Program Coordinator is to assist in the development and implementation of RLEs while coordinating and implementing programs that meet the needs of both RLE and Pathways to Careers (PTC) sub-grant from the Alfond Foundation. 

This position is a 30 hour per week fixed-length, soft-money position ending August 31, 2024, with the possibility of an additional one-year renewal. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in experiential education or a related field

  • Two (2) years of related professional experience

  • Project management experience
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Experience in Experiential Learning

  • Experience in Grant administration (budget and assessment)

  • Grant writing experience
