Business Manager
School Union #93 is looking for a Business Manager to join our dedicated Central Office Team located in Blue Hill. Located in the heart of the Blue Hill Peninsula, the district serves the coastal communities of Blue Hill, Brooksville, Castine, Penobscot, and Surry. The Business Manager would oversee the school operating budgets for each of the communities, as well as the Central Office budget.
This position is a full-time position to begin on July 1, 2025.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be knowledgeable in budgeting and financial management
- Have an understanding of school finances and grant funding
- Have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete various tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Have experience with accounting software, preferably ProFund
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a Business related field
- Experience in Fund Accounting or Non-Profit Accounting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong work ethic
- A Maine Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) is required
