High school diploma or equivalent required.
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) required.
Experience as a school custodian or equivalent

Must have the ability and desire to learn basic building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, boiler operation, grounds maintenance, and painting.
Ability to lead and work effectively with the custodial team
Ability to plan and budget for building needs
Excels at communicating and working cooperatively with collegues
Physical ability to lift independently heavy objects weighing up to 70 pounds
A willingness to contribute to the total functioning of the school
