MSAD#41 is seeking an English as a Second Language/Foreign Language teacher. This teacher will work with students in grades K-12. They will primarily work as an ESL Teacher and will teach foreign language according to district needs. We are profoundly and uniquely focused on the needs of our students and communities in Milo, Brownville, and Lagrange, Maine. We are a dynamic team of educators who are committed to positively impacting the learning lives of all our students. 

A successful candidate will:

• Assist in the development and implementation of LAU Plan and educational programming

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers

• Administer English Proficiency Assessments

• Attend ESL meetings

• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.

• Help students develop fundamental skills including the ability to speak, write, and comprehend a foreign language

Qualification requirements:

• Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain).

• 660 ESL Endorsement, or be willing to take required ESL coursework to become certified.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
