Description:   Working closely with the Head of School, Erskine Academy seeks a Director of Teaching and Instructional Technology to oversee the implementation and execution of Erskine Academy’s instructional program (curricular design, instruction, and assessment) and its professional development program to ensure the goals outlined in Erskine Academy’s mission are realized.  Furthermore, the Director of Teaching and Instructional Technology will provide visionary leadership and direction in effectively using instructional technology and integrating new and emerging technologies to increase efficiencies and productivity within Erskine Academy’s academic program.

  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Minimum five years of teaching experience 
  • Minimum five years of experience in the field of instructional technology 
  • Knowledge and experience in the development and evaluation of curriculum 
  • Knowledge of school improvement strategies 
  • Knowledge of and experience with the teaching and learning process
  • Knowledge of and experience in the development and maintenance of a positive school climate
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Head of School may find appropriate and acceptable
