Seeking an organized, flexible, energetic, and innovative teacher able to work well in a fast-paced collegial environment.

In addition to Maine certification (614-Music, K-12), the ideal candidate possesses knowledge of and experience with:

• NAfME and MLR standards for implementation in curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices in an elementary setting
• Proficiency-based education systems
• Backwards planning curriculum design
• Effective classroom management strategies
• Integrating technology tools to enhance learning, assessment, and communication
• Effective home-to-school communication strategies for discussing students' progress and interpreting the school curriculum and expectations
• Planning and scheduling rehearsals for concerts and other community events
