Self-Contained/Supported Program Teacher

Qualifications:

• 282 Certification - required
• Previous experience programming and planning for academic, social/emotional, and mental health needs of middle school students with disabilities -preferred
• Previous experience working with students with academic and behavioral needs - required
• Ability to write quality IEP's in a timely manner - required
• Ability to co-write and follow behavioral plans - preferred
• Ability to lead a self-contained/supported program team of educational technicians and service providers to ensure the IEP is followed appropriately
• Demonstrated ability as a clear and effective communicator with students, staff, and parents
• Demonstrates flexiblity, organization, and time management skills
