The Easton School Department is seeking a dynamic, person-centered Superintendent (Part-Time) to lead our PK-12 school community.  As a rural, municipal school department, Easton Schools offer a unique opportunity for a leader who values strong relationships, personalized education, and community partnerships.

The mission of Easton Schools is to provide our students with pathways that lead to knowledge, skills, and experiences in order to reach their potentials.


A municipal school department with an enrollment of approximately 200 students in two separate buildings, the Easton School Department is a close-knit school with strong community support.  Easton Schools recently entered into a partnership with the local community action program and will soon be housing Early Headstart and childcare services for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age.

Position Requirements:

  • Maine state Superintendent certification (010) or conditional certificate
  • Successful experience in school leadership; experience in a rural or small-school setting is a plus
  • Strong financial management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student well-being
  • Demonstrated ability to engage collaboratively and transparently with staff, families, and the community

 

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
