Location: Sebago Elementary School is a small PreK-5 elementary school with approximately 118 students. We are located in East Sebago Maine, just minutes from Sebago Lake and just a short drive to Pleasant Mountain. Our school community values the natural beauty of our surrounding, and look for opportunities to engage students in outdoor learning. We are looking for a certified art teacher to teach art classes two day a week. Experience teaching art at the elementary level preferred.
SUMMARY: To create a challenging elementary grade art program and nurturing class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to create positive relationships with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to build a foundation for elementary grade art education, in accordance with each student’s ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
