MUSIC TEACHER (K-12 Certified)
(2025/2026 school year)
The Lisbon School Department is seeking a highly qualified certified Music Teacher for grades K-12 for the beginning of the 2025/2026 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a district music department as well as be student-centered with a strong knowledge of content, including best practices in Music instruction, an understanding of standards-based assessment, the ability to use technology in instruction and to support the mission of the school department. Exact grade level assignment is determined based on candidate experience. This position includes supervision of students for applicable festivals and state performances as well as after school small group development.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Must have Maine State Teacher’s Certification with Music Endorsement. Candidates should have substantial relevant education and experience as well as an appreciation for Lisbon’s mission, vision and beliefs.
