The Ed Tech III will support young adults (ages 18–22) in the LIFE Readiness Program, a special education initiative focused on building independence and preparing students for life beyond school. Under the direction of a special education teacher, the Ed Tech III will assist in daily activities designed to develop functional life skills, vocational awareness, and community engagement.

Support students in hands-on activities such as cooking, grocery shopping, and meal planning.

Accompany and assist students during community-based instruction, including visits to job sites, volunteering opportunities, and local outings (e.g., food cupboard, library).

Foster independence and promote self-advocacy in real-world settings.

Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and collect data on student progress.

Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
