Elementary Principal

RSU 25 is seeking a highly qualified and properly certified individual for the position of Elementary Principal.  Interested individuals should hold, or be eligible for, Maine certification endorsement 040 Building Administrator.   This year round position is responsible to support the district’s mission, vision, and strategic plan by providing education leadership and supervision for the Jewett Elementary School PK & K and the Miles Lane School 1-4. 

The successful candidate will be an educator with:

• An understanding of the developmental needs of young children.
• The ability to lead teachers and staff to improve and enhance our school community.
• A strong literacy background.
• Knowledge of PLC's and MTSS.
• Excellent communication skills.
