Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant ( SPLA )

M.S.A.D #49 is accepting applications for: full time speech and language pathologist assistant (SLPA) to join our special education team of  providers.

• Provide direct therapy: Implement treatment plans and conduct speech and language exercises with students individually or in small groups to help them meet their goals.
• Assist with assessments: Help the SLP by administering and scoring screenings and progress monitoring tools.
• Document student progress: Keep detailed notes on student performance and progress, which is a key part of the overall therapy plan.
• Support the SLP: Assist the supervising SLP with various tasks, which may include preparing materials, administrative duties, and helping during evaluations.
