We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to join our team.
Position Overview:
- Providing instructional support and accommodations for students with special needs under the direction of special education teachers.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning, behavior, and social-emotional skills.
- Implement individualized education plans(IEPs) and support student progress monitoring.
- Assist with classroom modifications, adaptations, and inclusive practices.
- Communicated effectively with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Educational Technician certification (or eligibility) required.
- Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting.
- Understanding the IEPs, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for working with children in academic and other settings.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
