Description CESD is looking for a dynamic experienced educator to fill our Math Instructional Strategist position. The Math Instructional Strategist will work with classroom teachers to meet the needs of students in providing high-quality, differentiated instruction in Mathematics. Through consultation and co-teaching models, the MIS will collaborate with classroom teachers to identify the needs of students, design and implement Math practices that promote rigor, and monitor students' achievement through an iterative, data-informed process. The MIS will work directly with the Director of Learning and Teaching to conduct currlcular reviews in Math and Science.

Working with the Math and Science Content Leaders/ Department Head and Assistant Superintendent, the MIS will monitor the effectiveness of the curriculum progression and programs through data analysis of student growth and achievement.

The qualified candidate will have experience in teaching Math, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for student growth and supporting teachers.

Qualifications: Successful classroom teaching experience and Maine certification required
