Serving Maine’s Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.
MSAD 75 is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher at Bowdoinham Community School (Anitcipated Opening) to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Exhibit passion and a commitment to helping all students learn at a high level.
- Contribute to a school culture of appreciation, collegiality and innovation.
- Utilize skills to be successful with intensive collaboration in a team-based approach to teaching and learning.
- A strong understanding of research-based Literacy and Mathematics instruction and learner development at the primary level.
- Strong communication skills with students, colleagues and families.
- All other non-teaching duties per Teacher’s Contract.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education.
- State of Maine Department of Education General Elementary (020) certification.
- State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization.
