Youth & Family Care Coordinator
Full Time $23-$26 / hour
Homeworthy is looking for a compassionate team player who wants to join us in our mission to end the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Midcoast Maine. We are currently interviewing for a Youth & Family Care Coordinator to join our team for a two-year pilot, with the opportunity for a longer term position. This Youth & Family Care Coordinator serves Lincoln County in collaboration with Stepping Stone Housing, Inc. and is part of helping Homeworthy to achieve its mission on a daily basis. They help to identify and build on strengths, always treat clients with dignity and respect, and ultimately become trusted partners who help clients to reach sustainable independence. They are responsible for wrap-around care with housed Stepping Stone families, triage care in collaboration with Stepping Stone staff, and complete intentional outreach work with community youth, resulting in clear and accessible next step recommendations and actions. The Youth & Family Care Coordinator will support families who are working with Stepping Stone to triage immediate needs, divert to alternative housing solutions, and begin skill development while waiting for a home. The Youth & Family Care Coordinator supports clients by advocating for them in the community, helping them to identify needs and goals and connecting them with appropriate community and Homeworthy resources. The ideal Youth & Family Care Coordinator candidate will have at least three (3) years of social services experience with relevant training in the human service/mental health field. BA in social work or related field required. Knowledge of Lincoln County community resources and services for children and adolescents, a plus.
This position will pay $23-$26/hr, based on experience.
